Not All Dentures Are Created Equal!
Each set of Geneva 2000 Premium Dentures is custom made for the individual patient. The process begins with a series of detailed measurements taking into account crucial aspects of key facial features and specifics of the individual mouth. These measurements are then used to create the personalized aesthetic guidelines for the denture.
At Barry Brace DMD and Associates we find that dentures will need to be relined, remade, or rebased due to normal wear over a period of time and normal shrinkage of your gums and bones.
Precision Geneva 2000 instrumentation is used to obtain the correct vertical dimension and centric bite relation for the denture to enhance function and facial aesthetics. With conventional dentures the bite, or vertical and centric relationship, is traditionally recorded by having the patient bite into wax. This technique is flawed because the patient is conditioned by the previous denture to bite to a pre-existing, and sometimes pathological vertical and centric position. This flawed bite position is usually over closed creating a less than flattering smile, and serious problems with the function of the denture. It is not uncommon for The Geneva 2000 premium denture to solve long term issues with pain, discomfort, headaches, and TMJ (Temporal Mandibular Joint) problems.
